Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions I hear most.

What is temperament therapy?

Temperament therapy starts with understanding how God wired you — whether you naturally lean toward inclusion, control, or affection. I use the Arno Profile System to identify your temperament blend, then we apply that insight to conflict, stress, and relationship patterns. When you understand your design, change stops feeling like guesswork.

Do you offer online counseling?

Yes. I counsel online from Rockwall, Texas, and I can work with clients outside Texas as well. All you need is a private space and an internet connection.

Do you counsel in Spanish?

Yes — I'm fully bilingual and offer consejería cristiana en español, online and in Rockwall. Language should never be a barrier to getting help.

What happens in the free consultation?

It's a no-pressure conversation. You tell me what's going on, I explain how I work, and we both decide whether we're a good fit. No commitment, no sales pitch.

How much does counseling cost?

I offer a sliding scale based on your situation — we discuss the exact fee openly during the free consultation. A small number of goodwill sessions are available for genuine hardship.

What does "Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor" mean?

I'm credentialed through the National Christian Counselors Association as a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, and I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Christian Counseling (DCCC). I'm also an ordained minister — my counseling is Christ-centered and faith-based. I'm not a Texas state-licensed LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, so if you need court-ordered or insurance-billed treatment, I'll help you find the right provider.

Who do you work with?

Individuals, couples, and families — including ministry leaders and caregivers carrying burnout, conflict, and the weight of serving others.
